Since my graduation at the beginning of this year, I have been pursuing a new field that quite interesting to me, UX design. I have learned the concepts and techniques from several sources, such as podcast, youtube video, online article, book, and research journal. That process has given me a lot of new understanding which is beneficial for me in various way.

Humans Have Intelligence

First, UX design concepts has taught me as to how to learn. Observing and fitting the design to its users always involve learning process. This learning ability is defined as intelligence. And the fact is everyone has the intelligence. In everyday life, we as humans should take advantages of this grace. Humans could observe and adapt themselves under various condition by utilizing their intelligence. Nevertheless, the utilizing intelligence through learning process is very complex. Starting from experience, knowledge, creativity, to self-control involved in the learning process. UX design has been encouraging me to increase knowledge, experience, and even creativity so that my learning ability is honed. And I can live better.

Learning UX Design is Endless

As well as the learning process in life, the learning process in UX is also endless. Like what I have said, the process of designing UX involves a complex learning process. Studying the theories that underlie UX will only result a small knowledge about learning how to learn. The rest is practice. So when you started the design process, it means you just starting the learning process itself.
